Job Responsibilities Good computer skills (Avimark software) and the ability to use other office machines. Answer phones and take accurate messages. Be able to handle all types of high-volume phone calls. Relay information accurately to doctors and technicians. Utilizing the computer for emailing clients, getting prescription refills, lab results, patient records, etc. Be able to work in a paper-light hospital. Be able to multi-task. Schedule and confirm appointments. Make follow-up calls checking on the progress of patients. File medical records. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Be able to handle various forms of payment and reconcile deposits at end of the day. Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Assist technicians in the hospital area, if needed, after training. Have a positive attitude. Skills And Education Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. MUST have at least one year of veterinary experience. Excellent computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Be able to work with doctors and technicians in a team setting. Be able to prioritize and multitask. Compassion in difficult situations. Good customer service skills. Works well in a teamwork environment. Hours Days, evenings and every other Saturday. Hourly rate based on experience. Presently following Covid 19 protocols. We are doing curbside care as well as allowing clients into the hospital with strict guidelines.
