• Perform blood collection procedures accurately and safely from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols.
• Maintain all required records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.
• Create a professional and welcoming environment, explaining procedures clearly to patients and addressing their concerns.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality standards while demonstrating leadership behaviors focused on process excellence.
• Ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time under the supervision of the designated area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment and uphold a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.

Required Skills

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Schedule flexibility to include weekends, holidays, on-call hours, and overtime per staffing needs.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment is a plus.
