Warehouse Forklift Operator
Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Material Handling
Operate Crown Reach Trucks and Order Pickers safely and efficiently to load, unload, stack, and retrieve pallets and materials.
Transport stock throughout the warehouse, including high-bay storage areas.
Perform daily pre-operational safety inspections on assigned machinery and report any mechanical or safety issues.
Load and unload trailers/containers accurately according to shipping schedules and bills of lading.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience operating Reach Trucks and Order Pickers (experience with Crown equipment is strongly preferred).
Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification or ability to obtain PrideStaff internal certification upon hire.
Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy (ability to navigate inventory databases, use hand-held scanners/RF guns, and enter data accurately).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights on an Order Picker.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and sit for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctual attendance, and a team-first safety mindset.
Employment Requirements
Must be willing to undergo and pass a comprehensive background screening in accordance with local regulations.
Must be willing to undergo and pass a drug screening prior to employment and adhere to PrideStaff's substance-free workplace policy.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.50 - $19.50 Per Hour
