Patient Care Outreach Specialist (Onsite Glendale)

Job Summary Must have at least 1 year of administrative medical field experience and 1 year in a Call center. This is a special project assignment—a group of 10 consultants will be supporting 8 FTE in the Campus Support Center in Glendale, CA. The position requires flexibility to work Monday‑Friday and Saturday after training. Consultants will make outbound calls to patients to confirm pharmacy refills, annual wellness visits, ER outreach for patients who have frequent visits to the emergency room, new authorizations, and additional projects as assigned by leadership. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to patients to confirm pharmacy refills. Confirm annual wellness visits. Conduct ER outreach for patients with frequent ER visits. Process new authorizations. Carry out additional projects as directed. Skills & Qualifications Customer service experience. Care coordination. Experience in a call center environment. Prior authorization handling. Insurance and benefit verification. Data entry, including Excel (hide, copy, paste, filter). Project coordination and project management. Entry level. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire.
