Role Purpose This role is responsible for the primary service that depends on well‑maintained vehicles, organisation and tracking of the fleet and expenses within the company. The GSE manager will have the ability to accurately maintain and hold responsibility for an exceptional level of quality of all ground support equipment in the company and ensure all work is performed safely and is supported by established procedures and protocols. What You Will Be Doing Direct a preventive maintenance program to minimise cost and maximise use of equipment. Keep detailed records of all fleet vehicles and the organisation and tracking of fleet expenses. Administer a testing and inspection program to determine quality, suitability, and compliance with specifications for vehicles, parts, accessories, and materials. Direct a quantity and quality control program to maintain satisfactory levels of work performance. Plan, organise, and direct the work of duties to meet objectives with the most efficient use of personnel, facilities and equipment. Safety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What We Are Looking For Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency, preferably supplemented with college‑level courses in mechanical engineering, business administration, transportation management, and business management. Five years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair in an industrial vehicle operation, including two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Ability to maximise fleet utilisation and ensure maximum shop productivity. Ability to lift continually up to 70lbs. Must pass a drug test and a federal background check. Must have own tools.
