Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 15-week contract position.

Nights - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a 28-bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. The role requires the ability to manage a high patient turnover while providing excellent care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct patient assessments and triage efficiently in a high-stress environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient care delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Experience in an emergency room setting is preferred.
