JOB TITLE: Staff Pharmacist – Independent Community Pharmacy LOCATION: Montville, NJ JOB TYPE: Full-Time / Part-Time SALARY: $120,000 – $140,000 annually JOB DESCRIPTION Are you a pharmacist who wants to actually connect with the people you serve — not just count pills and move on? What You'll Do Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions with care and attention to detail Provide one-on-one patient counseling on medications, side effects, and interactions Offer clinical consultations and support patients in managing their overall health Administer immunizations Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers on patient care Assist with insurance claims and help patients navigate their benefits Support the day-to-day flow of the pharmacy and contribute to a positive team environment Required Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy Active New Jersey pharmacist license in good standing Immunization certification Strong patient counseling and communication skills Genuine commitment to patient-centered care Preferred Qualifications Experience in an independent or community pharmacy setting Familiarity with insurance claims and prior authorizations What We Offer Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 based on experience Health and dental insurance Flexible scheduling — full-time and part-time positions available Paid sick leave and holiday pay A supportive, family-like team where your clinical expertise is respected and your voice matters Who We Are Barry's Montville Pharmacy has proudly served the Montville community for more than THREE decades.
