Academic appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine. TCH is the nation's largest children's hospital and is ranked No. 3 in U.S. News and World Report's 2023 Honor Roll of Best Children's Hospitals, and in the top 5 in six of the ten U.S. News & World Report-recognized pediatric subspecialties. Pathologists at Texas Children's Hospital have primary full-time academic appointments in the Department of Pathology & Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and are expected to contribute to educational and scholarly activities in the Department of Pathology based at Texas Children's Hospital, as well as pathology resident and fellow education. There are exceptional opportunities for collaboration and research activities that include TCH and extend across numerous institutions within the Texas Medical Center.
