Engineer Technician in Training

This is a full-time position. Key Responsibilities Assist Field Engineers in operating robotic total station instruments, and auto level and other surveying instruments. Assist with establishing building control, setting markers, lines, corners, elevations, grades, alignments, angles, positions, and distances. Maintain total station, field book, survey equipment and tools. Provide primary support to our field supervision and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, use critical thinking to solve issues and lead team to complete daily tasks at jobsite. Qualifications - Required Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of experience, can read construction drawings and have training in construction safety protocols (e.g. OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform, boom and scissor). Must be agile and mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use hands to reach, handle and manipulate objects, and climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects. Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time. Preferred Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment. Must be able to work outside. Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
