Maman - Driver

maman is a cafe-bakery-kitchen-event-catering company founded in 2014 by owners Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte in soho nyc, focusing on homemade baked goods and comforting foods that bring them back to their own mothers’ cooking and warmth of home. maman offers delicious food and beverage as well as aesthetically pleasing spaces covered in rustic charm, blue and white ceramics, custom designed cups, and plenty of bunnies and greenery. maman is many things in one but it all stems back to family and the strong family we create within our team. we aim to serve your daily coffee and lunch, cater your next major event, or host the most special occasions in your life. 

We’re looking for a Driver to join our team

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our growing family. A company vehicle will be provided. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be available to work flexible shifts between 6:00 AM and 2:00 AM, typically ranging from 7–9 hours per shift.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver food, baked goods, supplies, and other products between maman locations.
• Complete catering deliveries to customers while providing excellent service and representing the maman brand professionally.
• Safely operate company vehicles and follow all traffic laws and company procedures.
• Load, unload, and transport products with care to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Assist with organizing, staging, and verifying delivery orders before departure.
• Communicate effectively with store teams, kitchen staff, and managers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

What We're Looking For:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
• Ability to safely load and unload products throughout the shift.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and special events.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely maneuver delivery items in and out of vehicles and store locations.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions while completing deliveries.

Previous delivery driving experience is a plus, but not required.
