Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend required.

The Oncology Registered Nurse will provide care for patients with medical surgical oncology diagnoses, including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. The role involves participation in clinical trials and administering chemotherapy. The ideal candidate will float to similar units as needed to ensure proper staffing.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Float to like units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) is mandatory; however, candidates actively working on certification may be considered.
• OCN certification preferred.
