Registered Nurse Womens Float NICU and Pediatrics

Job Summary Registered Nurse Womens Float Pool (NICU and Inpatient Pediatrics) at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities Perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient. Work in the 70‑bed NICU and cross‑train to inpatient Pediatrics. Work night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with rotating weekends. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. BLS required upon hire; NRP certification required within 1 month of hire; PALs required for Pediatrics within 1 month of hire. Previous clinical experience in the NICU and will be cross trained to support Women’s and Children’s Services Float Pool. Experience in NICU, Pediatrics, and Baby Catcher roles.
