This is a work-from-home opportunity after 90 days. Training is on site. You MUST have home internet to be considered for this position. We will provide all necessary equipment.

As a Deceased Care Collector, you will be responsible for collection activities such as contacting family members, Personal Representatives, and Attorneys to gather estate information and negotiate payment arrangements on outstanding debt. In addition, individuals in this role will preserve/enhance our client's reputation and profitability by maintaining our high customer service and empathetic focus to our collection approach.

As a Deceased Care Collections Representative, you will:

1. Provide quality customer service while handling a large number of inbound and outbound calls daily, regarding past-due accounts where the account holder is deceased.
2. Be empathetic and compassionate while working with survivors and executors of estates to resolve defaulted accounts.
3. Review accounts to determine the optimal course of action, while ensuring accounts are handled in compliance with established policies and procedures.
4. Maintains appropriate follow-up with the attorney and/or estate, monitor accounts to ensure the accounts are being handled in a timely manner, and in accordance with the SLA time frames.
5. Works with attorney on post-judgment collection and settlements to maximize recovery of charged-off accounts.
6. Ability to read and interpret legal and court documentation is necessary to perform the essential job functions.
7. Ensure all accounts are properly documented with actions taken, correspondence, and explanation of controllable versus non-controllable delays.
8. Be through and detailed, and able to document calls and account notes while on each call.

Hours of Operation & Pay:

1. $18.50 hourly
2. Monday to Friday 8h00am to 5h00pm EST

Requirements:

1. Excellent attendance and punctuality is a must.
2. Outstanding communication skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and desire to follow procedures.
4. High level of integrity, honesty and judgment.
5. Flexible schedule and open availability to meet business needs.
6. Must have 1+ years of customer service experience.
7. Must have 2+ years of collections experience.
