Vice President Of Finance

Job Overview
Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Finance department. Develop and manage operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives. Ensure scheduling is effective, maintain labor costs, meet staffing objectives and deadlines. Prepare, monitor and adhere to budgets. Provide superior customer service and maintain the Accounting System of Internal Control. Lead regulatory reporting requirements, maintain compliance with SEC, IRS, state agencies, and Sarbanes‑Oxley. Execute annual company budget, capital plan, and operational variances.
Supervisory Responsibilities

- Evaluate team members and deliver constructive feedback
- Determine staffing, interviewing, hiring, scheduling for business needs
- Set work procedures and expedite workflow
- Manage employee performance, coaching, counseling, discipline
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four‑year college or university; MBA preferred.
- Seven years of Accounting, Audit, or Finance experience; gaming experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
- Must operate in a highly confidential environment.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Ability to qualify for required licenses and permits.
- Can handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Read and interpret documents in English; verbal communication in English; written communication in English required.
Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form; handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Qualified for required licenses and permits due to federal, state and local regulations.
Physical Demands
Requires standing, using hands, reaching, touching, speaking, hearing; visual requirements include close, color and peripheral vision; lift and move up to 50 pounds, push, pull, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Work Environment
Noisy moderate environment; potential exposure to second‑hand tobacco smoke.
