Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:

• Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning
• Neurobehavioral Disorders
• Complex Medical Recovery

We are currently looking for a OccupationalTherapist -Per Diem (weekday availability)

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate competence in OccuaptionalTherapy evaluation, goal setting, treatment, and EMR documentation
• Chart appropriately and timely
• Effective communication skills for working with patients, families, and caregivers
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Maintain an excellent working relationship with facility staff members
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Provide dependable, regular per diem coverage weekdays/weekends

Requirements:

• Must possess a degree from an accredited academic program conferring the title of  Registered Occupational Therapist.

• Possess a current, unencumbered, NYS license and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment

• 1 year of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical facility preferred
