As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.92 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken. Communicate security-related concerns, unusual activity, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision in accordance with established procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
