Generation Tux is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Tailor to join our alterations team this season! Our team plays an important role in making sure every garment meets the high-quality standards we're known for. This position focuses on simple tailoring tasks such as pant hems, small garment repairs, and telescopic jacket sleeve adjustments.

What You'll Do

• Measure garments accurately to meet required lengths
• Label customer garments and record alteration needs
• Use sewing machines to adjust pant hems and jacket hems
• Adjust telescopic sleeves on jackets for proper fit
• Replace buttons, mend pockets, linings, and perform small repairs
• Use irons and pressing equipment to remove creases from garments
• Ensure sewing machines and equipment are kept in good working order
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management

What We're Looking For

• Patience, attention to detail, and pride in your work
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Comfortable sitting or standing throughout the workday
• Sewing experience preferred, but not requiredwe will train the right person!

Starting Pay: $18/hr
