Must-Have: Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required. Candidates must have extensive experience in orthopedics, neurology, and vascular surgery.

Description: This assignment requires a highly skilled and experienced surgical technologist. Candidates lacking a full breadth of current experience will not receive consideration. Actual weekly hours and shifts will be agreed upon during the phone interview. Guaranteed weekly hours will be adjusted based on hours agreed upon by the surgical technologist. Candidates with minimal requested time off will receive priority consideration. Surgical technologists will work 36 to 40 hours per week, either through three 12-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or five 8-hour shifts. Start and end times are negotiable. Approximately every fifth weekend will be a call weekend. There will be 1 to 2 calls per week, split between two call teams. Based on department needs and potential changes in staffing, the call volume could increase. All call requirements will have a 30-minute response time from the time of the call to arriving on site. Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the contract. Candidates must disclose all requested time off at the time of submission for it to be honored. Failure to disclose all requested time off may result in removal from the vendor set.
