Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, working days with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in BLS; California licensure as an Occupational Therapist; minimum of 2 years of experience; location in California; no specific degree listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with outpatient care and hand therapy; NIH Stroke certification; familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Float: PT (inpatient acute hospital), if traveler is willing.
• Additional Information: The facility manages a busy outpatient center and several off-site outpatient clinics within close proximity. Clinical responsibilities include adult and geriatric populations with orthopedic, neurological, pulmonary, and medical conditions. Therapy leadership includes inpatient and outpatient therapists, supervisors, and a director. The role requires general orientation on skills and department procedures. Certifications in BLS are necessary, and the candidate must submit licensure documentation. The shift is scheduled for 8 hours, with consideration given to 10-hour shifts for travel therapists. No holiday coverage required.
  Please note that the hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts in a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts if less than 13 weeks.
