AML Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced AML Manager to lead key aspects of its Anti-Money Laundering and financial crimes compliance program. This contract role requires an onsite presence in Nashville and will be responsible for overseeing AML operations, managing investigations, reviewing and performing QA on SARs, supporting regulatory compliance initiatives, and leading a team dedicated to mitigating financial crime risk.The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of BSA/AML regulations, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity investigations, and compliance program management. This opportunity is well suited for a compliance professional who enjoys balancing day-to-day operational oversight with strategic process improvement and regulatory risk management.ResponsibilitiesManage and enhance the organization's AML compliance program.Oversee investigations involving suspicious activity, unusual transactions, and high-risk customer relationships.Lead, mentor, and develop AML analysts and compliance personnel.Ensure compliance with applicable BSA, AML, OFAC, and other regulatory requirements.Review and escalate potentially suspicious activity and support SAR-related processes.Monitor AML metrics, trends, and emerging risks while providing recommendations to leadership.Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, legal, audit, and risk management functions.Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations.Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
