Medical Technologist | Microbiologist

MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist Microbiologist to join a dynamic team at an established hospital in Columbus, GA metroplex. Performing test and analyze microscopic bacteria, fungi and viruses, working for hospitals and medical labs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized microbiological procedures, including virological, mycological, bacteriological, and parasitological assays for use in diagnosing and treating disease
Operate, clean, and maintains laboratory equipment used in microbiological analysis and procedures
Perform a variety of microbiological procedures in order to cultivate, isolate and identify microorganisms in skin scrapings, exudates, body fluids and surgical specimens.

Requirements:

National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)
Bachelors or Associate Degree
ASCP or AMT
BLS
