We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations teams. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations teams. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong plus. Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
- Handle AP/AR processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing
- Prepare and process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Coordinate with outside accountants for audits and tax preparation
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Support inventory tracking and cost accounting functions if needed
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
- Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
