Job Description HealthCare Support is actively seeking an MRI Tech to fill an opening with a Fortune 100 major Healthcare organization in Albuquerque, New Mexico . Daily Responsibilities for MRI Tech: Responsible for performing MRI cross sectional imaging and other related procedures as directed by a licensed physician. Operates and monitors MRI equipment, programme the machine to the proper voltage, current and desired exposure tie as dictated by physician. Explains testing procedures to patient. Positions and instructs the patient about the preparation for the MRI test. Assigns and/or delegates duties to the appropriate qualified and/or licensed technologist. Monitors the patient’s condition before and after scan to ensure patient safety and comfort. Administers contrast media accurately under direction of Radiologist both manually and with pressure injector.
