Position Overview
The Project Design Engineer - Thermoset Composites will lead engineering projects from conception to completion, utilizing advanced technical skills and project management expertise. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design, development, and testing of engineering solutions while adhering to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify engineering drawings.
• Perform structural analysis and material science assessments for project feasibility.
• Apply design for manufacturability principles in product development.
• Develop prototypes and oversee testing and validation processes.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to integrate thermoset composite materials into designs.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication effectively.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and material science principles.
• Experience with design for manufacturability and prototyping processes.
• Knowledge of testing and validation methodologies in engineering projects.
• Familiarity with thermoset composite materials and their applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
