Our project Consultants are the heartbeat of our shop! Helping clients visualize, prioritize and create their classic vehicle is artwork in itself. When our clients come in with worry, despair or hesitation from their journey of failed attempts at getting their classic back on the road, our Project Consultants’ JOB is to help bring that spark BACK! Are YOU ready to help get Classic Vehicles BACK ON THE ROAD!? Job Summary: Adequately create, and execute itemized classic vehicle estimates, in timely manners. Provide auto part knowledge in comparability, or incompatibility. Be able to communicate findings or proper suggestions to team members and customers. Follow up and maintain organization of customer parts, scheduling, and communication with shop team/management.Understanding the high level of value in each classic vehicle and respecting the customer’s sentimental connection. Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM Responsibilities: Customer Communication: Provide updates to customers in a respectful and transparent manner. Conduct appointment reminders, schedule updates, project progression and invoice collections. Estimate Building: Efficiently and accurately build, adjust and modify estimates and invoices following company labor guide and estimate building protocols. Shop Communication: Connect with shop dealers and distributors. Build high quality relations with shop vendors. Assess Vehicle: Ability to assess vehicle upgrades, safety protocols, and compatible components, on the phone, and in person. Ensuring correct information is being relayed to customers, staff and vendors. Part Sales/ Recommendations: Ability to identify safety concerns, Vehicle modifications and sell the appropriate parts and labor associated with. Parts: Find adequate parts, replacement parts, or upgraded parts for vehicle specifications, or customer needs, based off shop protocols and trusted products. Learn Shop Software Key Performance Indicators: Meet Billed vs Production hour KPI goals. Individually and with the team. Number of successful projects completed within a given timeframe. Team productivity and efficiency metrics. Employment Performance Requirements Requirements General Classic Auto Knowledge: Familiarity with classic vehicle makes, models, historical significance, and common restoration, mechanical techniques. Understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with maintaining and restoring vintage automobiles is essential for success in this role. Passion for Classic Cars: Genuine interest in classic automobiles and their restoration. Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of automotive systems and components. Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously to achieve high-quality results. Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions from senior technicians. Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting heavy objects and working in various positions for extended periods. Initiative and Eagerness to Learn: Proactive attitude towards learning and improving skills in automotive restoration. Opportunities to advance into higher level consultant and possibly leadership roles within the company.
