About the Position

Job Title: Vascular Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Vascular Sonography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 hours (Monday - Friday 0800-1700) Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience License: BLS Certifications: ARDMS RVT Registered Vascular Technologist or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer Must-Have: EPIC experience Description: Vascular Sonographer needed for a dynamic outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic serving all ages. The average patient load is 8-12 daily. Common diagnoses include PVD, CAD, heart failure, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and thoracic outlet syndrome. Candidates should possess strong skills in carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous imaging, DVT/reflux studies, vein mapping, and assessments of renal, mesenteric, AAA, endografts, aorta, and upper/lower PVR/segmental pressures. Experience with hemodialysis grafts and various types of arterial bypass grafts is required. Candidates must be registered as a Vascular Technologist or as a Registered Vascular Sonographer. The department is supportive and provides a teamwork-oriented environment, welcoming travelers. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is essential. Equipment used includes Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR/segmental pressure machines.
