About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Buyer to support purchasing operations and help maintain accuracy across procurement systems and data. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. In this position, you’ll gain hands‑on experience with ERP systems, purchase order management, pricing and operational reporting, vendor coordination, and procurement workflows. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, strengthen your analytical and problem‑solving skills, and play an important role in supporting day-to-day purchasing activities. What You’ll Do Support purchase order (PO) entry and order tracking for routine categories Maintain item and pricing data integrity in ERP systems Assist higher‑level Buyers with order entry and reporting tasks Generate and distribute basic procurement reports Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, and other internal teams Provide administrative support for shortage and recall tasks Learn procurement systems, vendor basics, and compliance requirements through hands‑on‑experience What Success Looks Like You consistently deliver accurate, reliable work across purchasing activities, systems, and data You manage priorities effectively while supporting procurement operations in a timely, organized manner You build strong relationships with vendors and internal partners and collaborate well across teams You approach challenges with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and embody M&D’s values through accountability and teamwork What You’ll Need to Succeed 2+ years experience working in an office or business environment required; procurement, purchasing, or supply chain exposure is a plus Basic proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to work comfortably with data and reports; advanced spreadsheet skills are a plus Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams Organized, dependable, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and follow structured processes in a fast-paced environment Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HRA, HSA, and FSA reimbursement accounts Basic & Voluntary Life Insurance Short & Long-term Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Fitness Program Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program 401K Savings Plan with a company match Why Join Us At M&D, you’ll be part of a mission that matters.
