Patient Access Associate

Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, and remote and hybrid career opportunities Job Responsibilities Patient Intake, Registration and Documentation: Registers patients, verifies identity and insurance, collects basic information, enters demographics, and scans forms. Administrative & Technology Operations: Scans documents, answers phones, and uses electronic medical record (EMR) and eligibility tools. Case Management Tasks: Notifies case managers and documents referrals. Financial Counseling: Provides estimates and collects payments. Insurance & Contract Coordination: Verifies basic eligibility and coverage. Inquiries & Patient Concerns: Answers routine questions and escalates issues. Health Information Management (HIM) Coordination: Flags duplicate records and scans identification. Utilization Review Coordination: Flags cases needing review. Compliance: Ensures compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other applicable federal and state regulations. May perform additional duties as assigned.
