As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, report observations, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access‑control concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and documenting actions taken. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
