Catholic PK4 Teacher

Position Overview We are seeking a Catholic part‑time PK‑4 teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic preschool classroom at our Austin, TX Center for 13 hours per week. Responsibilities Prepare instructional materials and lesson plans at home. Deliver lessons in a highly structured classroom environment. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space. Attend mandatory teacher training sessions on August 4, 5, and 6, 2026. Follow curriculum and grading guidelines provided by RCA. Qualifications No teaching certification or formal teaching experience required. Proficiency with computer tools, preferably Google Suite, is a plus. Experience in homeschooling, working with homeschooled children, ministry within a Catholic parish, teaching religious education or catechism courses, or teaching in a classical or private school (not required). Strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith, including living sacramentally day‑to‑day. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training before teaching. Hours & Training Work schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm (13 hours per week).
