Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (MS/Tele)

Location: Gallatin, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00-07:00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed Call Requirements: As Needed

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical (MS/Tele) unit. The RN will provide top-quality healthcare to a diverse patient population, including all ages. The role requires the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to the healthcare team.
• Perform IV insertion and medication administration.
• Document patient care and treatment plans using Meditech EHR.
• Assist in coordinating post-discharge care and patient education.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care rounds and meetings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee.
• 1+ years of experience in MS/Tele nursing.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
