Physician - Infectious Disease

Barton Associates

Our client in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Infectious Disease Physician for a 90-day assignment, beginning Nov 30, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive care during day shifts from 8am to 5pm, with duties including microscopic specimen evaluation, managing vascular access devices, and administering intravenous and intrathecal anti-infective medications.

Responsibilities and Duties

Microscopic specimen evaluation
Management of vascular access devises/central venous catheters
Familiarity with intravenous medications
Central line placement
Intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents

Additional Information

Board Certification in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine required
EMR system: Epic
