Production Planner

Production Planner - ERP, ManufacturingBased in Woburn, MA, we are an industry leader manufacturing advanced thermal management solutions for aerospace, defense, semiconductor, medical, and other highly regulated industries.We're seeking a Production Planner with experience in manufacturing planning, ERP systems, and supply chain coordination to support on-time customer delivery and efficient production operations. This role will work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality teams to balance customer demand, material availability, and production capacity.Role and Responsibilities:Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, inventory requirements, and manufacturing capacityAnalyze sales orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability to create achievable production plansCoordinate with Purchasing to ensure raw materials, components, and critical parts are available to support production schedulesMonitor production progress and adjust schedules to address material shortages, equipment downtime, engineering changes, and customer prioritiesCollaborate with Manufacturing leadership to balance workloads, improve resource utilization, and maximize throughputMaintain accurate planning and scheduling data within ERP and MRP systemsParticipate in Sales and Operations Planning activities and production review meetingsSupport inventory control initiatives while balancing customer service and operational efficiencyGenerate planning reports and KPIs related to schedule attainment, inventory accuracy, capacity utilization, and on-time deliveryContribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and process optimizationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field preferredExperience in production planning, manufacturing scheduling, supply chain, materials planning, or operations coordinationExperience working with ERP and MRP systems in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, and material requirements planningAbility to analyze forecasts, production demands, inventory levels, and operational constraintsStrong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teamsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and manufacturing reporting toolsExperience within manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, electronics, or engineered product environments preferredBenefitsBase Salary Between $70-75k + 5% BonusStrong Benefits Package (Medical/Dental/Vision, Retirement Savings Options, etc.)Generous Paid Time OffWork/Life Balance
