Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager - PE backed environment! Our client is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager with a strong operational mindset and technical accounting skillset. Someone with prior experience in a PE-backed environment and strong M&A exposure will excel in this position. This is a great opportunity to join an Austin company in a fully remote environment. What you'll do: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with US GAAP Manage SaaS revenue recognition under ASC 606 Support M&A activities: purchase price accounting and post-acquisition integrations Collaborate with cross-functional teams across FP&A, Legal, and Ops to ensure audit readiness and scalable processes Help build a best-in-class accounting function within a lean, high-performing team Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in PE-backed environment (must-have) Strong understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SaaS revenue models ???????Hands-on M&A accounting experience, including post-acquisition integration Why work here: Be part of a close-knit, remote-first accounting team with strong Austin ties Learn from leadership with a track record of success Work directly under the VP of Accounting with clear visibility and upward mobility Participate in team events, lunches, and collaborative projects despite being remote What does this position pay? Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $125,000 to $140,000 per year.
