*Cavossa Excavating is looking for an experienced Excavation Estimator with a strong background in Title V septic, site work, earthwork, and small civil projects.*

We need someone who can look at a set of plans, understand how the job will be built, complete the takeoff, build an accurate estimate, and carry the project through completion.
*You'll own projects from:*
Plans → Takeoff → Estimate → Proposal → Award → Change Orders → Completion → Invoicing
*What You'll Do*
* Review site plans, septic designs, civil drawings, and specifications.
* Perform site visits and quantity takeoffs.
* Estimate labor, equipment, materials, trucking, disposal, and subcontractor costs.
* Prepare competitive estimates and customer proposals.
* Coordinate awarded projects with field crews, vendors, subcontractors, and customers.
* Track job costs and project progress.
* Identify, price, and manage change orders.
* Keep projects moving through completion and final invoicing.
* Review actual costs against estimates to improve future pricing.

*What We're Looking For*
* 5+ years of excavation, septic, site work, or civil construction experience.
* Proven excavation estimating experience.
* Strong knowledge of Title V septic and site work.
* Ability to complete takeoffs and build estimates from plans.
* Strong understanding of excavation equipment, labor, materials, trucking, production, and job costs.
* Ability to read civil plans, septic designs, and engineering drawings.
* Experience with proposals, job costing, change orders, and project billing.
* Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
* Field experience is a major plus.
