Base Pay $16.79 / Hour Employee Type Non-Exempt 1350 Summary Age Requirement: 18 years or older Position Summary Responsible for monitoring, overseeing, and administering the tools and materials needed for day-to-day operations of the facility. Departmental Tasks Familiarization with workplace safety, education and understanding of OSHA standards Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Keeps work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration in accordance with Facility Maintenance SOPs Familiarization with shop practices, operation and use of equipment, hand and power tools, and materials Monitors and maintain quality control standards Maintains inventory of parts and supplies for facilities repairs and orders materials as needed Performs quality inspections on tools and small equipment used Prepares and maintains records on all maintenance activities to include preventative maintenance Performs daily checks on tools and small equipment for proper operation Schedules and plans tool repairs, and new acquisition of tools Performs other duties as assigned May be assigned to drive company vehicle on public roads, to and from Isleta Pueblo properties, and/or other destinations, during shift Accountability and Supervision None Education and Experience High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent, required Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, equipment and their proper maintenance and storage Proficiency with management systems and computer software Excellent organizational and time management skills Experience with purchase requisition, approvals and bill of good receipts Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently Strong communication skills with the ability to train team members Ability to analyze data and identify process improvement opportunities Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certification Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license with no restrictions as part of the employment requirements. Should not have had a driver’s license revoked or suspended in the last 3 years prior to the date of the Employment Application, acceptability will be determined by Risk Management. Driving records will be checked periodically to ensure continued compliance with this requirement Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to communicate, in writing and verbally, in English and in an effective, informative, and professional manner and Must be able to perform basic mathematics to include, but is not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Must possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including high integrity and respect for individuals Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times Must possess computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft applications and software Must possess strong critical and analytical thinking skills Must be able to take direction and feedback well Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays Must possess excellent planning skills Must possess and demonstrate well-developed interpersonal and communication skills while exhibiting motivational, confidence, intelligence, and teamwork characteristics Must be able to read, understand, and administer instructions written in English Must possess string knowledge of tools and materials Must be able to read, interpret, prepare, draft, and maintain all records Must be able to operate light and heavy equipment, manual tools, power tools, and electric and combustion engine high- high lift equipment Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, move and place 50 pounds Work is generally performed indoors in a casino setting with exposure and a high noise level.
