Countertop Fabricator (Hand Fabrication)
GranitePro is a Maryland-based countertop fabrication company serving homeowners, designers, and contractors across the state. We fabricate natural stone and quartz at our own state-of-the-art facility and pride ourselves on precision, quality, and clean one-day installs. We're looking for an experienced hand fabricator to join our production team and help us turn raw slabs into finished, install-ready countertops.
Position Type: Full Time
Location: Eldersburg, MD
Responsibilities :
- Understand and perform all functions necessary to fabricate natural and engineered stone projects — countertops, backsplashes, and various finished goods — on the production floor in our state-of-the-art facility
- Adhere to strict company quality standards
- Read and comprehend shop drawings and production information
- Use a pneumatic polisher, wet polishing pads, handheld wet saw, handheld grinder, and various measuring devices
- Polish and finish all types of profiled countertop edges and backsplash
- Refinish the surface of stone as necessary to meet company standards
- Lay out pieces to match grain, veining, and seam placement
- Organize and accurately document your work upon completion
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years experience in stone fabrication
- Strong attention to detail
- Citizenship or work visa required
