General Manager

iGas USA, Inc. is a leader in the HVAC refrigerant industry, serving customers across the United States and internationally. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands‑on General Manager to lead our Tampa operations. This leader will be accountable for the overall performance and work closely with senior management and functions including Sales, Accounting, Operations, Production, IT, HR to execute company strategy and support continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a strong and dynamic business leader who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on operational leadership , has strong financial and analytical capabilities, and can build a high‑performing organization through effective leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Overall Business Management

• Manage the company’s day‑to‑day business operations, including construction projects and maintenance.
• Provide cross‑functional leadership and coordinate activities across departments.
• Establish clear performance expectations, accountability, and operating standards across all departments.
• Maintain strong controls over inventory, operating expenses, assets, and working capital.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, service, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to improve processes, systems, technology, automation, and organizational effectiveness.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Build and maintain a high‑performing leadership team.
• Coach, develop, and hold managers accountable for their teams and business results.
• Establish a culture of accountability, respect, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Foster open communication and collaboration across departments.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Identify operational risks and implement appropriate controls and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a business owner or partner, with strong common sense and a practicial, solutions-oriented apprach to problems, is highly preferred.
• Experience in HVAC wholesale/distribution, refrigerant, chemical, manufacturing or related industryis highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of building construction, facilities, and maintenance, with the ability to oversee related projects and make practical business decisions.
• Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading teams in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve processes.
• 8+ years of progressive management and leadership experience, with significant responsibility for operations and business performance.
• Experience leading managers and developing high‑performing leadership teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands‑on environments.
• Comfortable leading change and improving processes in a growing organization.
• High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professionalism.
