Medical Assistant

*Medical Assistant/North Hollyword (Intermediate Level)* *Position Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate *Medical Assistant* in the *North Hollywood *area to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is essential in ensuring efficient daily operations while delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.
The ideal candidate is experienced in patient interaction, comfortable using EMR systems, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality.
*Key Responsibilities*

* Obtain and accurately record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results
* Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) with strict confidentiality
* Coordinate day-to-day administrative functions, including:
* Appointment scheduling
* Patient check-in and check-out
* Medical record maintenance

* Prepare examination and treatment rooms for patient visits
* Assist healthcare providers with clinical procedures and patient care
* Provide basic patient education and instructions as needed
* Support referrals and authorizations processing
*Required Qualifications*

* Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or clinical setting
* Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
* Strong understanding of patient care workflows and clinical support tasks
* Experience with appointment scheduling and front-office coordination

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
