Summary Are you looking for an opportunity to build a market‑changing product? The Product Manager, AI Tax Preparation role leads the delivery of end‑to‑end product experiences that revolutionize the income tax preparation process for U.S. tax & accounting professionals. Your mission is to harness the power of AI and key technologies to create an automated and connected tax preparation experience across our broad portfolio of award‑winning UltraTax and U.S. tax products and capabilities. Responsibilities Develop strong product intuition by interpreting and assessing customer problems, business needs, and opportunities and offering potential solutions with a moderate level of guidance and direction. Build world‑class capabilities and products by creating a vision for the product, maintaining the product roadmap, and partnering closely with the dev team and UX to execute the roadmap and deliver efficiently. Serve as the customer voice for engineering teams, prioritise the product backlog based on customer and business value, and use metrics to monitor and measure progress. Take extreme ownership of a feature/product, its performance and reliability, delighting clients with a positive experience, learning from setbacks, and evangelising the product vision to colleagues. Maintain a cutting‑edge AI perspective, inspire teams to ideate and experiment with AI, and share insights by writing, blogging, and shareouts with teams and customers. About You Curious & innovative; obsession for customer problems, working closely with customers, partners, and colleagues to solve them in unique ways. Agile with strong sense of urgency, comfortable in fast‑paced dynamic environment, unafraid of failure. Effective communicator projecting confidence and conciseness to management, peers, customers, and partners. Demonstrated in problem‑solving, leadership, technical design, thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, communication, and effective execution. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent experience. 2+ years of Product Management experience. Experience building tax products with strong expertise on tax core concepts; experience on UltraTax, GoSystem, or other core tax apps is a plus. Experience in fintech, in creating tax & accounting SaaS products. Experience delivering AI, ML, Gen AI, RPA projects. High energy, collaborative approach in cross‑functional matrixed environments. Base Compensation Eligible office locations include: NewYork City, SanFrancisco, LosAngeles, Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. Base compensation ranges from $104,900USD to $194,700USD in those locations, $91,000USD to $169,000USD for other U.S. locations, and $93,000CAD to $143,000CAD in Ontario, Canada.
