Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Point Pleasant, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Pre-Employment Requirement Valid Driver's License with a least 1 year of driving experience Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, perimeter areas, parking areas, and critical infrastructure locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities in accordance with site policies. Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
