Revenue Accountant

Job Summary Process monthly oil and gas revenue for operated and non-operated properties. Ensure accurate volume reporting and timely distribution of payments to royalty owners. Core Duties Record gross revenue, taxes, and transportation deductions. Reconcile purchaser statements with production data to find volume variances. Prepare and file Texas severance tax reports. Maintain the revenue sub-ledger and assist with month-end close. Research and resolve owner inquiries regarding payment discrepancies. Assist with regulatory filings for state and federal agencies. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Basic understanding of energy industry accounting standards. High accuracy with large datasets and complex calculations.
