ICU Clinical Nurse

Overview Unit: Memorial Shiloh ICU, Full‑time, Night shift. The ICU provides critical and emergency care at Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh, both Magnet‑recognized hospitals in the greater St. Louis area. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay with BSN Differential and Shift Differential. Responsibilities Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care, and medication administration. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engage in professional development. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient/family. Proactively plan and ensure communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assess patient preferences, barriers to involvement, and values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Required Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: No prior experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Current ICU experience.
