Position Critical Care Transport Paramedic Department CareFlight Air & Mobile Services Facility Miami Valley Hospital Shift Full-time Days 7:00am-7:30pm / 72 Hours Per Pay The MICU Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The MICU paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse during transport and may also provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based. The CareFlight MICU paramedic works with all populations of patients. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions. Education High School completion / GED; Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio Licensure / Certification / Registration Paramedic in the State of Ohio Required Certifications at the time of hire BLS, ACLS and PALS Required Certifications within specified time frame following hire 90 Days – ITLS or PHTLS 1 Year – NRP, ATLS (audit) 2 Years – CAMTS approved professional certification Experience Minimum 3 years of full time Paramedic experience required.
