The role requires candidates who are team-oriented and compassionate. Candidates must be flexible and able to cope well with a fast-paced environment. The unit includes 24 beds and a staffing structure consisting of a charge nurse, five nurses, and one to two techs. Patient ratios are 5:1. Typical hiring profile includes skills in med/surg and post-op experience. Preferred skills include experience in GYN/Oncology and Urology. Typical procedures performed include post-operative assessments and care. Pain management including PCA and epidurals is part of the role, as well as Foley catheter maintenance. Candidates must have the required certifications included in their application. No special scheduling or requests for time off will be accommodated after accepting the position.
