Receiving Inspector / Quality InspectorLocation: Redmond, WAPay: $25.00-$28.00/hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PMDuration: 3-Month Contract to hire positionWe are hiring a Receiving Inspector to support a quality team responsible for inspecting incoming materials, components, and assemblies before they enter production. This position is ideal for candidates with receiving inspection, quality inspection, manufacturing, or aerospace experience who can confidently use inspection equipment and read technical documentation with minimal training.Responsibilities:Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials, parts, electronic components, and assembliesConduct visual, dimensional, cosmetic, and functional inspections according to established proceduresVerify product conformance against engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and customer requirementsUse inspection equipment including calipers, gauges, multimeters, power supplies, hipot testers, resistance testers, and other measurement toolsReview quality documentation including Certificates of Conformance (COC), Certificates of Analysis (COA), and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation for traceability purposesGenerate inspection reports and non-conformance reports (NCRs) when requiredIdentify and segregate non-conforming materials and assist with corrective action processesEnter inspection data into company systems and maintain quality recordsRequired Qualifications:Previous experience as a Receiving Inspector, Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, or Quality TechnicianExperience performing incoming or receiving inspections in a manufacturing environmentProficiency using calipers and other dimensional inspection equipmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specificationsStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsBasic computer skills for reporting and data entryAbility to work independently and begin using inspection tools with minimal trainingPreferred Qualifications:Aerospace manufacturing or aerospace quality experienceKnowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience inspecting electronic and electromechanical componentsJ-STD-001 certificationIPC-A-610 certificationIPC-A-620 certificationTechnical school or trade school backgroundWork Environment:Clean production environmentCombination of sitting and standing throughout the shiftSome inspections conducted in low-light environmentsUse of electronic test equipment requiring strict safety proceduresOccasional overtime available, including voluntary SaturdaysWhy Apply:Benefits start the first of the monthMultiple medical coverage options available401(k) with 6% Safe Harbor contribution plus 3% company matchFree parking$75 monthly carpool reimbursement per participantFree coffee and onsite marketConsistent first-shift scheduleOpportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced inspection and testing equipmentKeywords: Receiving Inspector, Incoming Inspector, Quality Inspector, Quality Control Inspector, QC Inspector, Quality Technician, Aerospace Inspector, Dimensional Inspection, Calipers, Micrometers, GD&T, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Multimeter, Blueprint Reading, Incoming Inspection, Manufacturing Quality, Electronic Testing, First Article Inspection, IPC, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620Apply today if you have receiving inspection experience, quality inspection experience, and hands-on experience using calipers and precision measuring equipment.
