Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter areas, to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access procedures, and compliance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and communicate observations to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

 

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Guard card is required. 
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
