About This Role The Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - OB/GYN, IVF at NYU Langone Health will support the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice and clinical policies. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse looking to provide comprehensive care and collaborate with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care. Highlights Pay: $117,977.99 - $117,978.00 Annually Location: New York, NY Facility: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department/Unit: NYU Grossman School of Medicine Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests Collect patient health history Record information in electronic health record Provide information, counsel, and education to patients and families regarding test results and treatment plans Administer medications, provide comprehensive wound care, and perform phone and in-person patient triage Assess and monitor patient responses to various treatments, procedures, and anesthesia Consult with clinical supervisors and licensed providers to determine best treatment plans for patients Direct, supervise, and delegate to licensed practical nurses, medical assistants, and technicians Participate in coordination of on-site activities to provide patient care Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team and promote collegial relationships Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required; Associate Degree in Nursing may be approved contingent upon approval from Nursing Leadership Experience Minimum of two years nursing experience in applicable area Licenses & Certifications Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association ACLS certification preferred Benefits Comprehensive benefits and wellness package Financial security benefits Generous time-off program Access to holistic employee wellness program About NYU Langone Health NYU Langone Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
