This position offers a consistent schedule, full-time hours, and the opportunity to support residents through accurate medication management and clinical pharmacy services. 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Alternating weekend coverage required Responsibilities Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications for residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities Evaluate medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, drug interactions, allergies, and therapeutic effectiveness Collaborate with physicians, nurses, consultant pharmacists, and facility staff regarding medication-related concerns Ensure compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy regulations Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as appropriate Maintain accurate patient and medication records Support medication fulfillment, order verification, and quality assurance processes Provide clinical guidance regarding drug therapy, dosing, and medication safety Assist with controlled substance monitoring and regulatory compliance Participate in pharmacy operational workflows to ensure timely medication delivery to partner facilities Qualifications Active Pharmacist License in good standing PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree required Long-term care, institutional, hospital, or closed-door pharmacy experience preferred Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and pharmacy regulations Experience reviewing high-volume prescription orders preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment Additional Information Client interview required Flexible interview format based on facility needs Fast hiring process for qualified candidates Why Amergis?
