Speech Pathology - Middletown, CT

Step into a rewarding role providing speech-language services for high school students as a contract SLP, available now through the end of the school year. This position serves a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students, working 25.5 hours per week. You'll collaborate closely with educators and support staff to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality speech and language interventions tailored to high school learners.


Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license/certification (state requirements must be met)
• Previous experience in schools or with adolescent populations a plus
• Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload and deliver IEP-driven services
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to helping students achieve their communication goals in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
• Provide direct therapy-individually and in small groups-to address speech, language, and communication challenges
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and participation
